I read this on Myspace and thought it was nice.

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.

I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.

Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom.

GO! GO ! GO!

The Anderson Family
Wow what a weekend this is turning out to be. My youngest daughter M'Mili (Emily) just turned 13 yesterday. Well to start off the weekend her Nana (Clint's Mom) took her and a friend ice skating. Tiara brought a friend and they had a blast. M'Mili had to use the walker to keep herself from falling but still ended up falling. Tiara was a pro. For it being their first time ice skating she did wonderful.
My Mom and Dad decided that it would be the perfect weekend to come and visit all of us. So we ended up going to Cory's house and having pizza. I made a cake and bought ice cream. We all sang Happy Birthday (Me doing my traditional Opera singing) and I think she will get her wish.
So today we are heading to Clint's sisters house for another big party. Only this time we are celebrating 7 birthdays. They have alot of February birthdays in his family. I have to make two more birthday cakes. Thank goodness I like to make cakes.
So now that my rant is over I hope everyone has a great weekend. I know I will! Times like these may seem overwhelming but in the end they are just what you need. Time with family is priceless and should never be taken for granted. I cherish all these special times and would never trade or change them. I love each and every one of them.

What a weekend!

This picture is back in the good ol' days!
So I am officially classified as a horrible parent from my 15 year old daughter. We just added her to our T-Mobile account giving her a cell phone. Only rule is not to text during class. So what does she do? She texts during class and gets it taken away by the Vice Principle. She calls me and says that the V.P wants to talk to me about it so she can get it back so I agree. I tell him it is fine to give it back to her and that I will take care of it. When she gets home I ask for the phone and I take it since she didn't follow the rules. And that is when the world ended. Teenage girls are so full of drama. CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
